KynShot AR-15 Carbine Buffer - Heavy Gas
The KynSHOT RB5000HP is a hydraulic recoil buffer engineered for over-gassed AR-15 platforms and 9mm radial delayed blowback systems. The RB5000HP is optimized for use with Mil-Spec carbine buffer tubes (7” internal depth), and works with any standard buffer spring. The RB5000HP can be easily installed as a direct drop-in replacement for existing buffer systems.
When a suppressor is added to an AR-15, increased back pressure often results in harsher cycling. The RB5000HP builds on the performance of the RB5000 with enhanced damping to better manage this added pressure. It is also well-suited for larger bore calibers such as .50 Beowulf, .458 SOCOM, and .450 Bushmaster. While the standard RB5000 can handle these applications, the RB5000HP is specifically designed for setups that require additional damping due to over pressure.
Thanks to its advanced damping characteristics, the RB5000HP also delivers optimal performance in 9mm platforms using radial delayed blowback systems, such as those from CMMG. For these setups, it should be paired with a carbine-style buffer tube or the factory buffer tube supplied with the firearm. If using an A5 buffer tube with a radial delayed blowback system, alternative models such as the RB5007 or RB5015HD are recommended.
Using patented technology, the RB5000HP absorbs recoil energy from the bolt carrier’s rearward movement, helping to prevent bolt bounce during chambering. It reduces felt recoil by 30% or more, enhancing overall shooting accuracy while minimizing muzzle rise. Our testing also indicates faster target reacquisition, allowing shooters to maintain their sight picture and stay on target between shots.
