KynShot AR-15 Carbine Buffer - 9mm Std
The KynSHOT RB5007 is a hydraulic recoil buffer engineered specifically for 9mm pistol-caliber carbines (PCCs) that use a Mil-Spec carbine buffer tube with a 7” internal depth. It functions as a direct drop-in replacement and is compatible with any standard buffer spring, making installation simple across a wide range of existing setups.
Developed in collaboration with Blitzkrieg Components, the RB5007 is designed to reduce felt recoil by up to 30%. This reduction enhances overall shooting accuracy, minimizes muzzle rise, and allows for faster follow-up shots. Testing has shown that shooters can reacquire targets more quickly, and in many cases, maintain their sight picture without needing to come off the optic after firing.
Optimized for 9mm platforms, the RB5007 performs reliably in builds with barrel lengths ranging from 3.5” to 7.5” when unsuppressed and works effectively with all common 9mm ammunition. Its carefully balanced weight and length ensure smooth operation, reduced recoil impulse, and proper cycling—stopping just behind the bolt catch. The buffer’s patented hydraulic technology absorbs the rearward energy of the bolt carrier, helping to eliminate bolt bounce during chambering.
The RB5007 is also compatible with A5/AR-10 buffer tubes (7.75” internal depth). When used in this configuration, it should be paired with the KynSHOT Spacer Weight (P/N: R1505098). However, spacer weights are not required when using a CMMG Radial Delayed Blowback system. For builds utilizing a carbine buffer tube with a CMMG Radial Delayed Blowback bolt carrier group, the RB5000HP model is recommended instead.
