The DDM4V7 is a direct gas impingement model with a mid-length gas system and forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receivers. This particular model features a 16" Cold Hammer Forged Barrel made from Chrome Moly Vanadium Steel and features an ultra durable heavy phosphate coating. A DD 15" MFR Free Float M-LOK compatible hand guard is standard and this rifle features a Deep Woods Green finish on the hand guard as well as the upper/lower receivers.
