Cheap Bastard Complete Upper - 2-Tone

The gun is not called the "Cheap Bastard" because it is a cheap gun.  It is called that because it was named after the project lead who is a self-admitted cheap bastard.  He wanted to see if he could assemble a gun that shot as nice as the gun that inspired the build, but for half the cost, and we think he did it.

Designed and built to be run suppressed.  They include several gas mitigation solutions such as the down vent bolt carrier and the charging handle.  That said, they will still run reliably without a suppressor.
  • Forged upper receiver with forward assist
  • 11.5" 41V50 CMV barrel w/ M4 feed ramps, nitride finished, 5.56 Nato, mid length gas system, 1:7 twist
  • .750 gas block
  • 10.5" M-Lok handguard with slots on 7 sides
  • BBR logo'd K-Spec Down Vent BCG, phosphated, chrome lined, sand cuts with an NP3 bolt
  • Breek Arms Sledgehammer Charging Handle
  • Magpul MBUS 3 folding sights
  • A2 Birdcage muzzle device

Recommended for use with standard carbine weight buffer system.

We do recommend the first 500 rounds be full power 5.56 NATO ammo.  Once broken in, it should run reliably on commercial .223 ammo.  Please note, some very lightly loaded rounds (Hornady Frontier for instance) might induce malfunctions when running without a suppressor.
